A Future Spring Historical fiction High school teacher Ginny Dalton is running from a painful past Emotionally scarred by an abusive ex husband she is searching for a peace she can t seem to find Detective Scott James is struggling with his own painful past Abandoned by his wife after a life threatening injury he now finds himself cautious guarding his feelings When a violent incident breaks out at Ginny s school she and Scott are suddenly face to face Can two wounded souls leave the past behind and take a chance on a new beginning A Future SpringA Future Spring is not my usual read but I was pleasantly surprised The plot follows Ginny and Scott a high school teacher and a detective respectively after a violent incident in the halls of Ginny s high school The events of the novel follow her recovery from the incident their budding relationship and the day to day lives of tragedy survivors The plot moves along at a fair pace though I was left wanting something A few times throughout the novel there was the potential for major conflicts but most issues seemed to be resolved fairly quickly. Historical Fiction A Future springdale All in all it was a pleasant read and I d recommend it to anyone who s into Christianity themed fiction English A teacher who is a domestic violence victim whacks a school attacker in the head and starts fancying the detective who investigates the case He fancies her back but they are both scarred by their past so they re taking it really slow All the action is over by the time the first chapter starts the rest of it is all about her insecurities and reasons not to trust life his love and herself English A Future Spring.
