A chase christmas fantasy series
The kind you create and who you were born with English Good story butI guess I wasn t happy because there was conclusion to the story Too many loose storylines that I have to know the answer to Can t wait till the next book Good reads English Sometimes the perfect Christmas isn t perfect So many happy endings and new beginnings in this quick holiday tale I love that we were able to touch base with my favorite family and see how mated life was treating them The author kept the spice of the relationships as we learned about a new disruption to pack life This book is another fantastic addition to the story and I enjoyed reading how everyone caught the holiday spirit I am so looking forward to seeing many stories by this author English Reading out of order I read books 1 2 about two years ago but don t remember much about them Didn t feel lost because it s clear that this book is a sort of catch up epilogue kind of book showing us glimpses into the Chase family how all the Chase brothers are with their mates.

Book a chase christmas card The emphasis was on celebrating family Well there were sexy times too Mostly on family though now that they ve settled down It was clear who was with whom and how they were related to each other Reasons for the 3 stars Firstly the book is separated into three parts Natalia Logan Eloise Benedict Ruby Carter with each portion shifting to a different couple s POV but still carrying the main story forward But the portions in the females POV were in first person while the portions in the males POV were in third person Switching back and forth was disconcerting and I would have preferred it to be all third person There was no good reason to have the female POVs in first person anyway since nothing about their train of thought or use of language accent slang words cuss words etc helped to differentiate their voices from each other Natalia could have been Eloise Eloise could have been Ruby Ruby could have been Natalia we wouldn t have been able to tell who was speaking just from reading the narration The other reason for the 3 stars is that the story arc is incomplete and the plot has no conclusion Natalia is pregnant and had some complications with the pregnancy as she is human but the babies are half lion shifter But by the end of the book she hasn t given birth so we don t know whether she managed to give birth safely It seems we only get the answer two books later in book 8 based on the blurb I don t like that the storyline is incomplete in this book and it isn t even concluded in the very next book Plus Natalia was so ill one moment and then the next moment she s back at home It s like the author builds up the tension in the story only for it all to deflate like a burst balloon I was so sure that Logan would broach the issue of changing her into a shifter again once she regained consciousness and got better He d had a bad scare and would have wanted to gain her consent the first chance he got But no this never happened or the author didn t let us see it Third reason for the 3 stars is the lack of details in this book There s a mystery about three wolf cubs who were found abandoned in the woods in chapter 1 This mystery is solved without ever informing the reader how it was done or why the situation occurred in the first place Like one minute there s a problem next minute boom it s solved So many questions surrounding the cubs and their parents Apart from some interaction between the oldest cub and Natalia on the first morning after they re found we never see any other interaction with the other cubs and also don t see them overcoming their fear of big male alphas Feels like the author was just skimming and writing an outline rather than fleshing out her story She managed to slip in detailed sex scenes but barely any details about the actual plot I notice that I gave book 1 four stars and book 2 five stars The only thing I can think of is that maybe the author rushed this story so that it would be out in time for the holidays since it is a Christmas book and it was first published on Dec 21 2015 And perhaps the pressure of rapid releasing most of the books in the series book 1 was published on Sep 4 2015 so that means she put out 6 books within almost four months affected the quality of the later books I really don t know but I do feel that this novella was a let down English.
